CIVICS
During first semester we primarily deal with Consumer Education. You will learn the basics about the economy, budgets, career choices, etc. Second semeseter we will focus on Government. It is during this time that the class covers the American Revolution, The Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and the Illinois Constitution.
GOVERNMENT
Government is a one semester class focused entirely on the United States Government from its eager beginnings to present day. Along the way we look at our Democracy and compare it to other forms of government throughout history. Though fast paced and thorough it is designed to encourage students to become active in their government while enabling them to secure the necessary government requirements for graduation.

As you know, my wife Lisa and I are the proud parents of Abraham and Eli. Abe is 3 years old and Eli was born at the end of last school year. I tend to bring up stories of them quite often. I will occationally upload pictures of the little guys so that you can see them grow as the school year progresses. In order to view pictures click on the Abraham and Eli Pics link.
