I will use this website to interact with my students, parents, and the educational community.  You will find information on each of my current classes, current homework assignments, and upcoming quizzes/exams.

This is my 8th year at Belleville East.  I teach Health and Physical Education.  I previously served as an Assistant Wrestling Coach and school Athletic Trainer.  I have a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from SIU Carbondale (1999), a Bachelors of Science in Health Education from SIU Edwardsville (2004), a Graduate Certificate in Community College Teaching and Learning from the U. of Illinois (2010), a Masters of Arts in Health Studies from the University of Alabama (2012), and a Masters of Science in Education with an emphasis in Kinesiology from SIU Edwardsville (2002).  I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Board Certified Athletic Trainer, Medic Certified First Aid Instructor, a Certified Health Education Specialist, and a KCBS Certified Barbecue Judge :)   I am a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, National Strength and Conditioning Association, American Association for Health Education, American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance and The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing.  In addition, I teach Health and Kinesiology courses at the college level.  My wife Kristen and I have a daughter, Abbie, and twin yellow lab/golden retriever dogs, Toby and Buster.
