Webster University is offering the St. Louis Area High School Scholarship Program to students with at least a 3.6 GPA and rank in the top 20% of their class with a minimum 24 ACT score. Value: $14,000 annually renewable.  Application is available at               
The Stokes Educational Scholarship Program is available to seniors planning to major in computer science or computer/electrical engineering. The Stokes Program allows you to attend college full-time, and then work full-time for a minimum of 12 weeks in the summer related to your course of study.  By accepting this scholarship you also agree to work for NSA (National Security Agency) for at least one-and-one-half times the length of study upon graduation.          The Bishop Dudley, Sr. Pastoral Scholarship of Excellence will be awarded to a student who exhibits excellence in academics, character, civic and church activities, and family. Applicants must have a minimum 3.5 GPA, letters of recommendation, and essay. Value: $1,000 annually renewable.
·         The Ida Dorothy Dudley Memorial Scholarship
·         The Minister Sheila Renee Swygert Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to the individual who has, through perseverance and persistence, overcome their circumstances despite the odds. A minimum 2.5 GPA required along with an essay, letters of recommendation and church involvement/service. Two scholarships valued at $2,500 will be awarded.
·         The New Life in Christ Interdenominational Church Life Changer Scholarship will be awarded to individuals who exemplify the characteristics of servant-leader. Eligibility requirements include: minimum 2.5 GPA, essay letters of recommendation, church involvement/service. Three awards will be made in the amount of $2,000.
·         The John H McCants Hope Scholarship is a need based award established to offer hope where there is despair. Applicants are required to submit essay, minimum 2.0 GPA, letters of recommendation.  

Eastern Illinois University is offering scholarships for students who plan to major in Career and Technical Education. Applications available at


The Southern Illinois Area Credit Union is offering a $500 scholarship to credit union members with at least a 3.0 GPA. Essay and letters of recommendation required. Applications are available in the Counseling Office. Deadline: June 1.

Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity at University of Illinois is offering the Triangle Achievement Scholarship to males attending U of I. Applications are available in the Counseling Office. Deadline: Not listed on application.

The Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees (SOAR) will award a $1,000 scholarship to a high school graduate related to an active SOAR member. Applications are available in the Counseling Office. Deadline: June 16.


The Triangle Achievement Award in the amount of $200 will be offered ton one incoming freshmen male student attending SIUC for the Fall 2011 semester. Applications are available in the Counseling Office. Deadline: June 30.


The Antonio C. Plair Memorial Scholarship will be award a $500 scholarship to an African American male with a minimum 2.75 GPA who has demonstrated academic achievement, and leadership. Applications can be downloaded at Deadline: June 24.


The National Black MBA Association St. Louis Chapter will award six $1,000 scholarships to minority students (African American, Hispanic American, Native American or Asian American). Applications can be downloaded at Applications must be postmarked May 15.


Female athletes interested in seeking scholarship money to play field hockey or lacrosse at Lindenwood University may be interested in talking in with our Athletic Director, Mr. Loyet. All ranges of athletic ability welcome from beginners to advanced level.


The St. Louis Attractions Association (SLAA) Carole Moody Scholarship will award $500-$1,000 scholarships to student who has at least a “B” average and has worked for an SLAA member, is a member of SLAA or a family member of an SLAA member. Applications are available in the Counseling Office. Deadline: June 1.
